Lipids on Surface
This node is a quick way of scattering points and instancing lipids on any mesh surface. The node requires an Instance to be scattered but for this, you can also plug the Lipid Instance, which is a simple procedural lipid structure.
With this node you have many controls over the points distribution and lipids instanced on the mesh, along with an input socket for displacement if you need to make your membrane more organic/natural.
Lipids on Points
This node group is similar to Lipids on Surface, but it skips the step of scattering the points, for cases where you already have the points in your node tree.
Lipid instance
This is a simple procedural lipid that you can use as either a placeholder or a final geometry.
